TOFINO AS DESIGN INSPIRATION
At Little Giant, inspiration often begins with what’s already there. In Tofino, that means mist-draped trees, shifting tides, and windswept beaches that feel untouched and alive. It’s a place where nature doesn’t ask for permission. It simply shapes the land and invites you to slow down.
There’s something deeply compelling about the unplanned moments here: a trail formed by footsteps over time, the way fog softens the edges of a landscape, or how driftwood gathers in quiet sculptural piles along the shore. In these unscripted gestures, there’s a reminder that not everything needs to be polished to be beautiful. Sometimes, the most inspiring spaces are the ones that feel a little wild.
We can learn from Tofino’s rhythm. There is an openness to how it moves, organic, unforced, and generous. Designing this way asks us to listen closely. Not just to form, but to feeling. How can architecture hold space for both stillness and change?
